I've been thinking about getting back into 1:6th, after neglecting it almost since I started reenacting two years ago......I can't afford to make anything new, but I can at least modify old weapons and figures until then....
Thinking about enlisting....
Well, the last few weeks have been tough for me.....it's been rather unstable in my family, wiht my friends, and a shitload of mind games being played on me, and it's really fucking with my head.
Considering I've been searching for the last year and a half for a job, with little luck, I'm giving myself until my birthday (May 5) to find a job or I'm joining the Air Force.
Looks like I might be seeing a recruiter sooner than I thought....but, it will at least help keep me in line.
Reenacting season starting up again.....
Well, Looks like more and more battles until mid-late summer......I still have to replace my type three splinter Jump Smock, and all of my equipment, but I'm happy for now with just a type two and my field uniform.
Looks like and Italian Front Battle next month. The Russian front battle Scheduled for next month was initially rescheduled for March, and it's been rescheduled for Mid May. Perfect time for a summer Ostfront battle......we might be able to wear our tropicals for this battle.
I'm unsure of battles in March and April, but I know of a public show in June, possibly an Afrikakorps battle in July or August, then our Western front with
Help...can't think of what to do next....
Well, the titles says it all.
I cannot think of what to make next, and here are my issues:
I am out of sealer, so most of my painting is out of the question
PDN and llustrator work, but I'm having problems running illustrator (not a big deal)
I now have about 5 or 6 miles (no shit, I'm serious on that) of old bannar paper to use, but I can't draw to well.
Any suggestions?
I've had enough with Windows
I'm am glad I found somebody willing to pay me to do some minor sewing and painting work.
I have had enough of Microsoft's shitty operating systems. They have been causing me nothing but problems for years.
I tried Vista, and it was terrible, and I tried windows 7, which is like Vista on crack. Currently running XP, which so far runs what I need it to and has the least problems of most of the Windows Operating systems.
Depending on how much I get from the job determines how long it will be until I can finally upgrade to a Mac.
